Who runs KumihoSaju
KumihoSaju is run by SEMAK. If you have a question about your data, write to support@hedgielabs.com and a person answers.
What we keep
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address and your profile picture from that account. We keep the name and the email so your account is yours; we never see or store a password.
The people you add: their name, how they relate to you, their birth date, their birth time and their birth city if you give it. This is what a chart is drawn from, and it stays under your account.
What you tell Kumiho: the questions you ask, the choices you tap before a reading or a chat, your chats with her and the readings she writes, kept so you can read them again. A reading you share is copied into its link until you remove the link.
Technical records: the address your requests come from, which pages you open and which buttons you tap, the country and region your connection comes from, and the kind of device and browser, so we can see where the app is hard to use. Never what you type. They are kept for at most fourteen days, and the address is kept with your sign-in session while it lasts. Error reports go to our monitoring service with personal data removed first.
What we use it for
To keep your account and the people you add, to draw their charts and readings, to keep the service safe, and to see where the app is hard to use so we can fix it. Nothing else.
Now and then we look at a chat that did not go well, so Kumiho answers better next time.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who processes it for us
The site runs on Vercel, the database is Neon, and errors are reported to Sentry. Kumiho's written answers come from Anthropic's Claude: it receives your question, your recent chat with her, your choices and a summary of the chart, never a birth date, a birth time, a birth city, a name or an email address, and under Anthropic's commercial terms it does not train on them. Each of them processes data only to provide that service to us, and your data may be processed in the United States.
How long, and how to delete
Your account and everything under it stay until you delete them. Delete my account, on the Me tab, removes your account, your people and their charts at once, and it cannot be undone. A sign-in session ends after thirty days without use.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. While the site is in private preview, one more holds the access password. There are no advertising cookies.
When you start a purchase, one more cookie holds a random number for this browser, so a pack is credited to the account that is actually paying. It is not built from anything about you, and it is used for nothing else.
While a tab is open, it holds a random tag (not a cookie) so the pages of one visit can be counted as one visit. It is not built from anything about you and it is gone when you close the tab.
Notifications
Notifications are off unless you turn them on, on a device where you say yes. When you do, we keep that device's notification address and the two keys your browser gives us to deliver them, the kind of browser and device it is, and when a notification was last sent and opened, so we send at most one a day and fewer when you are not opening them.
A notification shows a short fixed line, and a first name only if you turn names on in the Me tab; never what you asked or what Kumiho wrote. It travels through your browser's own notification service (Apple, Google or Mozilla).
To stop, tap Turn off under Notifications on the Me tab, which turns them off on every device, or switch them off in your phone's settings. Signing out turns them off on that device, and deleting your account removes all of it.
Your rights, and age
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time, by email or from the Me tab. You must be at least thirteen years old to have an account.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
Payment provider
Gumroad receives the email you enter at checkout and your payment details to process payment; it never receives your birth details or the words of a reading.
